Cost Of Hay Soars; Animals Starving

Here is a story about a 30 year old blind and deaf horse! He was rescued three months ago and the rescuers are giving details on how the cost of hay is high due to the drought.

Interesting to see even these old timers having a good home and life till the end.

These are always heartwarming, but would it have been better to put him down, considering his age and being deaf and blind?

Very difficult situation all across the country. I just hope spring comes early — and lushly green.

I don’t have enough hay to last until then — guess I’ll be eating gruel while my horses are eating Canadian hay.
